In 2011, the UN Human Rights Council unanimously endorsed the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The guiding principles would help corporations to apply human rights principles while running their businesses. Embedding human rights into the business strategy may help companies to sustain and to be competitive in the long run.  

The meeting will discuss the corporate responsibility to respect human rights and show practical examples of companies' commitment to human rights protection, both to their employees and to communities.

The meeting will also discuss the work plan of CSR Working Group and elect the Head of the group.
